Alexandra Hirzel is a serial entrepreneur, investor and board director with nearly two decades of experience building, scaling and commercializing technology businesses across the United States and Europe.
Having founded, operated and exited, she brings a combination of operational expertise, investment experience and board-level perspective to healthcare innovation. Her work spans digital health, MedTech, artificial intelligence and deep technology, with a focus on translating scientific and technological advances into commercially viable businesses.
Alexandra founded FemTech Capital to address a fundamental disconnect in healthcare: significant unmet clinical needs and scientific opportunities that remain insufficiently understood, supported and funded.
Through FemTech Capital, Alexandra is building a specialist ecosystem connecting founders, scientists, clinicians, operators, industry partners and investors to advance innovation across women’s health, sex-specific medicine and longevity.
